Let it rain!

What up everyone!!! :)

Seems like back home everything is going well :) a lot of cool things happening :) everyone seems to be enjoying their lives and living up the snow :) Its crazy to see everyone going on mission and everyone's lives being blessed because of it!! I love my mission so much more and more every day!!
Well this week went by super fast once again I swear I was just emailing like yesterday but Its super nice because that shows that I am enjoying the mission and everything about it!! The work has been going great, I have a great companion, amazing area and people what more could I ask for! Plus all of my stresses about home have gone away and I know that that is the lord blessing me and blessing the people in my life! I love this gospel and everything about it! I love having a wonderful family who loves and supports me as well as my very very special friend.... You know who you are ;) hahah anyways I love my life right now I love all the support I get from back home it truly makes life so much easier! THANK YOU EVERYONE!! Anyway about my week :)

Well this week has been raining like crazy!! It’s like every day it rains and sometimes it gets pretty cold not going to lie! But it’s so nice that's it’s raining because everyone is happy because their crops are growing super-fast and super nice as well! The mountain kingdom is now super green it’s like the garden of Eden! LOL But yeah i love when it rains because it’s truly African rain like it’s like stepping into one of the waterfall showers and the water pressure is turned up the whole way!! IT’S INSANE when it rains!!! ITS THE BEST!!

Well Transfer news is this Saturday!! ISNT THAT CRAZY this transfer is basically already over and its been a 7 week transfer!! I don’t know if I’m going or staying, either way I wouldn't mind. I just can’t believe how fast everything is going :) hahah

Well this week there was a gospel something not even sure what it was but we thought that we would go and set up a stand for the people who were about to walk into some bogus evangelist hahah. And a lot of people actually came to us and asked us a lot of cool questions and we got a lot of people's numbers and new investigators :) Its was very fun to be involved with the city basically :) That was a cool way to find people and also to be involved in the culture :)

This week I think we might have a free car wash and make fliers and things like that but I'm not quite sure yet :)

Not really much happened besides that so sorry for a short letter this week. Just a lot of work and meeting new people :) Oh also the members are starting to invite us over often for DAs and that is super nice:) haha

Well everyone that is about it from Entate Tahou Mochochonono Grange
Peace out from the mountain kingdom

Slaughtering Week!

Hello everyone that side! Un teliki?

This week was a super busy crazy fun week :) we killed a pig and had a braai, i got my Christmas package.... finally :) the APs came to our area, we have interviews by this mission president, training meeting, a lot of rain and hail!!! yeah this week had a lot happen hahah :)

So Monday after emailing the whole zone wanted to go and climb this famous mountain in Lesotho. As we were driving it started to slightly rain. Suddenly that soft rain turned into extremely heavy rain then hail! The hail was the size of marbles or bigger it hurt so bad to try and catch on! and as I’m typing right now it’s raining hard! It’s about time it rains here the rain season was supposed to happen a while ago so everyone is happy that it is raining now :) anyways we didn’t climb the mountain instead we decided that everyone would go and buy their own meat so we could have a braai. Well as we were driving back five of us missionaries decided that we should go and slaughter a pig for the braai! So yeah we did and I’ll send pictures they are a little gory but hey I’m a African now hahah :) the meat was soooooo good!!! It was still raining so we put the braai stand inside and blasted some fans to blow the smoke out the back door at the masianokeng boarding, it was just all around a great day :) :)

Christmas package :) I got it as well with some letters from people :) it felt like Christmas all over again when the APs brought us our stuff! me and Elder Rowe had a great time with our gifts and the scriptures to try to guess what was inside:) also all of us are having fun with the little hoop! We play horse at night and sometimes it gets intense haha :) but mom and everyone that helped thank you so much it was the best package ever!! The sunflower seeds...... THE BEST!! hahah

Well the APs were with us for a day just to see how we were doing and they are super chill! Great guys!!

We also had our interviews with president! And that was just such a great interview! I am finally locked into South Africa and there is no way that I am coming home until they drag me to the airport! I love serving the people and teaching the lessons! I love meeting new people and suddenly becoming friends with them even though everyone is different! This work is so amazing! I love it! Our investigators are rapidly growing and everything is just going to what we plan! The lord is truly blessing us and the Lesotho zone!!

I hope everyone has a great week and I hope that everyone stays a hold to the Iron Rod!! This gospel helps anyone in any circumstance that they might be in! Turn towards the lord and Jesus Christ and everything is possible I truly promise you that!! Time is flying by and I’m loving every second everyone have a great week!!!! :)

BYE BYE MEs and Entates!

Enjoy The Cold!

Hello everyone :) once again this is elder grange typing you a wonderful email from the mountain kingdom... well actually I don't know if they are wonderful but I’ll try my best :) anyways first thing that I would like to say is..... ENJOY THE COLD!!! It is so fetching hot this side! This week has been like super super hot one day it was 104!! It’s so hard to concentrate in a lesson because you’re more focused on how much sweat is running down your face! It’s seriously feels like you sat in a hot tub then walked to the sauna and sat there all day long! But its ok I still love the mission life :) The mountain kingdom is the best... especially the sunsets... with all the mountains and then the big clouds it’s pretty legit!!

So some stories about this week. We went on a walk up to the top of the mountain again to take pictures with the new companions. And I stepped of the rock and totally rolled my bad ankle. But Im so glad I got surgery because it didn't even hurt and my ankle naturally just prevented me from rolling my ankle fully. It’s like I have a robot ankle now it’s pretty legit!!

Later on in the week we were waiting for one of our investigators to come home for the lesson and as we waited a lot of kids came to us so we decided that we would teach them some games. We ended up playing duck duck goose as well as red rover :) it was cool cause when we started there was like only 6 kids and then towards the end there was like the whole village there hahah like parents everything that was so much fun and everyone was laughing. Yes a lot of kids got clothes lined but no one got hurt :) I wish I had my camera :( oh well :)

Well not really much to really talk about, but I will talk about our investigators and churchy stuff I guess ;) hahah well.... We have this one investigator who had the missionaries like 6 years ago in Johannesburg then he moved here and never had the missionaries stop by. We tracted into him one day and we are now teaching him. He is super powerful and have such a strong testimony about the gospel and about joseph smith! he wants to be baptized and one day baptize his family! That would be so cool!!! so that is just on of our investigators that we have but I just thought that this week I would talk about him. Oh yeah his name is Tsepo. :)

Gospel principals class is so powerful and fun! Especially when investigators get into it! Our teacher is a returned missionary and you can tell he was really successful :) a lot of people come to church when you ask them to so that's another thing that I like about Lesotho :)

OH YEAH puseletso the lady that I baptized. Her some is progressing extremely fast and he is so powerful a well! He is super cool he Is 15 and is on the national rugby team!!! 15 FLIPPING YEARS OLD!!! his favorite color is blue :) hahah anyway yeah those two investigators Im pretty sure are going to be baptized :)

The missionaries call me captain Moroni because I like to take charge and plan things..... I kinda like that name its pretty legit ;) hahah They say that im already leading at a young age haha the missionaries here are the best :)

Well yeah this church is true.... DUH anyways I hope that you all have a great week and a safe one as well :) READ PRAY ENDURE!!

Peace out amigos :) that's Spanish by the way lol

2016!!!

Hello every one this is elder grange speaking :)

Hope that you all had a great Christmas and new year, 2016 YOOOO!! I can’t believe it’s already 2016! 2017 I’ll be home... cool :) What did you guys do for new years? Don't be afraid to email me ill make sure that I’ll read them and send a small email back to you if I got time, but I do really enjoy reading everyone’s email.

For me my Christmas didn't really feel like Christmas because it was hot, and no snow or family so it was kind of weird :) Also my new year’s was a lot of fun. We stayed up and watched the fireworks: 0 man when it was midnight there was so many fireworks it was insane!!! We also had some fireworks and enjoyed the night with some members in the area :) Everyone was super nice on new year’s and everyone would just scream out of the car windows saying happy new year!! It was just a lot of fun :) members fed us like crazy though so that was nice! a lot of great food :) They love ketchup here like they put a lot of it on anything!! So usually parts of a meal consist of white rice with just ketchup mixed in with it.... not the best but it’s alright :) They also drink this one drink called ginger beer..... IT IS THE BEST!!! It’s not actual beer it doesn't have any alcohol in it. But I’m learning how to make it so I seriously love it so much. It’s like a fruity ginger taste drink and it has kind of a burn in the back of your throat because of the ginger yeah it’s just the best!! It’s really cool how they cook here and I’m pretty sure that I’m going to cook like they do when I get back home. They use what they call a braii stand, it’s like a grill but its half of an oil metal can if that makes sense then they weld legs on in and use a fire and char coal and the meat just tastes so much better over a open fire!

Anyways about my week :)
So this week was a lot of fun and powerful, we have a lot of new and progressing investigators. They are all doing great and we try to see each of them at least 1-2 times a week. We have a lot of our investigators who has had some lessons by missionaries before and now they are just ready to accept the gospel now. They are all so cool and powerful and everyone is different :) We have also been doing a lot of service this week mainly just gardening and moving things. That's nice because we get to learn how they do their gardening. I really enjoy service because it builds trust with the people and members and investigators, plus it’s like a workout and you get to learn things for your future life. Mission is just the best!!!

So some cool interesting fun or whatever stories this week :)
Well there was a lady that we met last Sunday at church. She grew up in Lesotho and then went to BYU because she got a scholarship because he English was so great anyways she met a guy from Clearfield I think.. And they got married. Well they came back to visit and we were talking and she asked where I lived. And I said Hooper and she said Hooper totally right. I guess she worked at Hooper tomato days and sold shirts. So that super cool to run into her.

We have this dog at our flats, he is the land lord’s dog. Anyways at first he was scared of us but now he really likes us so we play with him every night so that's a lot of fun to kind of have a dog I guess. We named him buddy, and sometimes give him our left overs :) it’s sad the dogs here are definitely not a man’s best friend they are all super skinny and un healthy but occasionally you will see a very healthy good looking dog so you know that that dog is a man’s best friend.

This week we have gone to this less active member’s house occasionally. We share spiritual thoughts and just help them. We have also been making some beats on his computer because the brothers (age 17 and 21) are like super good at DJ so we make beats for fun and they are super cool :) We play uno with them and sometimes have a dance off so that house is a lot of fun to go to if we get bunked or if we are just having a bad day :)

Elder Rowe is just the best! He is helping me so much and is a powerful missionary! I think it’s time for me to leave this area though. I need to be with someone who is in my group or at least in the same area. I really want to run into Doney. I think that would be really cool if I saw him! I heard that he is killing it though!!

That's about all I can think about writing this week. If anyone has any question send them and I’ll try to involve them in my weekly letters. Miss you all have a wonderful week :)
