6 Months Already??

Hello everyone :):) Wow can you believe that its been 6 months already 1/4 of my mission........ Done!!!!! that is super super super crazy to me because everything that has happened so far feels like those things happened yesterday! its crazy how time is like numb on mission!!!!!!! IT IS CRAZY!!!

Anyway, about my week :) 

Well this week we had a great week. The work is progressing we are finding new people to teach and of course the members here are extremely nice to us and help us out so much with referrals and with feeding us we especially needed that this week that’s for sure. I say that because the power went out of and on for like two days.... then on Tuesday it just completely went off and stayed off.... we found out from people that the energy station blew up and we didn’t have power. So all of our food went off and the meat and everything so we literally had zero food!!! So luckily we have amazing members this side. 

We also had zone conference and that went really, really well as well :) it was a very great zone conference and now we found out that the Durban temple with be built by 2018 to bad it wont be sooner but at least they are finally doing that:) We also found out in the last 6 months we have gained over 50 new missionaries in this mission that’s about half of the total missionaries in this mission so this mission is very very young if not one of the youngest in the world which is pretty cool :) 

So there is this avocado tree by our boarding. And some fall into our place so we take them. Also members give us some as well so we have the best avocados ever!! Now I wasn’t that big of a fan back home but here I swear they taste different like they are sooooooooooo good!!! but then again I like tomatoes now so I guess its just the mission changing me :) 

Mission is crazy I’m having a lot of fun teaching the people and being with the other missionaries as well :) its honestly the best two years and I can say that confidently now! I’m so happy with how everyone is doing back home with My bro going to be a father My other Bro killing it in basketball My family just enjoying life and having fun as well as my sweetheart getting her mission call!

What else could be better.... nothing! THE LORD IS A PRETTY GREAT GUY IF YOU ASK ME :) I hope that everyone has another great week and I will be emailing once again next week ( to me it feels like two days but once again I’m numb to time now ) love you all have a wonderful week :)  

It's Getting, Hot, Hot, Hot! and PICTURES!!

Hi everyone this week well has been HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT like dang ITS BEEN HOT!!

 Its so humid within seconds of going outside it feels like  I'm all sticky and gross its actually really weird how humid it is to be honest. Its like a sauna. Well this week was still great no matter what :) 

I really enjoy riding bikes i'ts supper fun and sometimes we will just stop and play with the kids in the street :) I'm just loving everything :) hahah :) 

Well there is a family that we go to and every time there are so may kids that just scream missionaries and it's like the whole village of little kids run to that house. They all pile in and sit on the floor. They pass out the book of mormons and everyone pays attention to us :) Its so much fun :) last time there was a total of 21 little kids just piled into this little room :) it was great!

Oh I didn't have my camera but last Saturday at the beach there was so many monkeys!!! And the best part was to watch the babies just latch onto their moms and they would run away. My goal this week is to feed one and get pictures!

We didn't go paint-balling sad, sad, sad days, it was closed. So we might be going mini golfing instead which will be fun :) 

We had something happen to our allotment this week. Usually it comes in but it didn't come in for like 4 days after. We were all starving but luckily that members here are great and feed us a lot :) and every meal we have coke ;) ha ha 

On Sunday we basically run the whole service. Give talks, sacrament, lessons, so i'm sure sometimes people get bored of the missionaries doing it all :) but it's kind of fun and annoying at the same time :) 

Well the work is getting better and the area is great :) I love serving with Elder Chitate he is such a cool guy!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello everyone :) I hope you all had a great valentines day :) It was just another day here in Africa :) well at least missionaries wise :0 well my week went by soooooo fast!!! like too too too fast!! I’m already going into week three here that pretty weird but yeah mission life is crazy:) well I’m loving the area and my comp is super cool :) I have pictures but they are super hard to send. But about my week :)

Well I am pretty sick not gonna lie. Being sick and doing missionary work pus biking they just don't go together then on top of that this heat is horrible but all of things are not the best but in the end a mission is so much fun so I’m not complaining :)

So  I’m  getting to be close to the members in this area more then Lesotho :) I love them so much and they feed us so much its the best!! They are super fun to just be with. Well this week we did some gardening and its really cool ow they do things here they raise up the soil to be like tall they plant the plants in that high soil so that the rain water stays and hits them its actually really smart and looks super neat as well. Its really strange how much the people in Africa love WWE ( the fake wrestling ) hahah its funny to see kids have like the shirts and you always see little kids like pretending to be them and fight :) its so much fun to have the little kids come to me and they always gang up on my like 5 of them will just come and start punching me and pretend fighting its so awesome to play with the kids whether its fake fighting or soccer of even uno people love uno!! haha IM LOVING IT!!!

So a little story I haven't told you guys. Well Awhile ago I went to EFY to BYU with Raysh remember... Well I met a kid there his name was Garret and we became really good friends at efy but then we never really talked after that well we figured out in the MTC that we knew each other from EFY and now we are in the same house on the same mission his name is elder Lesueur and we have know each other for awhile now I guess you could say but the crazy thing was that we figured all this out in the MTC!

This week we had a baptism his name was Qinoso (the Q you make a click sound ) and he is 16 He is a very cool guy and the baptism went great :)

We are going Paintballing for our Zone activity today I’m so excited I’ll definitely be taking pictures and let you know about all those thing next week :)

Next week will also be a short email I’m going to send a lot of pictures next week and its takes a very long time to download them so that's what ill be doing well I hope everyone have another great week :) love ya all !!
